Business Card for Audio Engineer
Client: Erik Sandberg

[Project Details]
The Challenge:
Roughstock frequently works with artists and independent businesses, who are often restricted to a more limited budget than some of our larger clients. Yet the need to communicate a distinct personality is essential for these folks if they are to make an impression.
The Solution:
Roughstock approaches the common business card by using its most basic functions—calling card, reference material, note pad—as inspiration. When designing a card for San Francisco's infamous 500 Club, for example, we left the back of the card blank and uncoated so that bartenders could jot down shift details and phone numbers. Sadie's Flying Elephant had different concerns: working within a strict budget, Roughstock relied on simple two-color printing and vivid gold card stock to create an eye-catching card without breaking the bar's budget.
